catching up some

It has been over a month since I've posted anything on this blog. Instead of blogging I've been working on a blog book. I'm trying to finish it in the next couple of weeks. It is almost done mostly I just have to edit it which will include Ross. I've been intending to follow through with this task for a long time now and I think this time I will really do it. I've had a lot on my mind though and thought I'd share some of my joys of life (adding it to the book too).
These are just two pictures of many that I've taken over the last month (the others are in my book), just two pictures of my little sweet Emeline Tess who I love so much and I'm so grateful for beyond measure. As I'm writing this my eyes are filling up with tears. I know I can do so much more for her and at times I feel unworthy of her if that makes any sense.
One of my favorite times of the day is in the morning when I lay in bed with Emeline. She wraps her arms around me, kisses me a couple times and says, "I love you so much" with a great big smile. She'll repeat this over and over and it melts my heart to pieces. This morning she said, "say 'I love you so much'" as though she were telling me to tell her that I love her so much and I do more than she knows or will ever know. Life is not always easy I can attest to that I've had my share of trials, but some of those times of trial have brought me to where I am today where I have a wonderful husband and daughter. I'm so thrilled to be expecting a second child. At this time I'm only 13 1/2 weeks along and barely in the second trimester, but still it's gone by fast and I know in no time at all we will have a second child in our care. Double the task, but twice the reward. I'm up for it!!!
